Showers

A Shower Worth Starting the Day In

When a shower goes, it usually goes behind the walls first. We rebuild the whole assembly: proper waterproofing, new valve and fixtures, then tile or a quality surround, and glass that fits your space. Most shower remodels run as part of a larger bathroom update, and that is where the results get dramatic.

  • Walk-in and curbless showers
  • Full tear-out and waterproofing done right
  • Tile or low-maintenance surrounds
  • Glass doors, niches, and benches

Shower Remodeling Across Central Connecticut

From Bristol and Southington to Farmington and West Hartford, most of the showers we replace are twenty or thirty years old and failing behind the walls, not just at the surface. That is why every shower remodel we do starts with a full tear-out. It costs a little more up front and saves the callback nobody wants two winters later.

How It Works

How This Project Runs

  1. Measure and Plan

We measure the space, check what is behind the walls, and talk tile versus surround, glass, and storage.

  2. Tear-Out

The old shower comes out completely, down to the studs, so nothing questionable stays hidden.

  3. Waterproof and Build

Proper waterproofing first, then tile or surround, fixtures, and glass.

  4. Seal and Walk Through

Grouted, sealed, and inspected together before we call it done.

Shower Remodel Questions

Tile is fully custom; a quality surround is quicker and easier to maintain. We install both and will show you what each looks like at your budget.

Often, yes. It depends on the framing below the floor, and we will tell you on the first visit whether your bathroom allows it.

Common in older showers, and exactly why we rebuild from the studs. Whatever we find gets shown to you and fixed properly before anything is closed up.

If the rest of the room is tired, doing it together costs less than doing it twice. We will price it both ways so you can decide.
