Two-Tone Kitchen Remodel with Quartz Counters in West Hartford

The before photo tells the story: flat-panel cabinets with exposed hinges, green laminate counters, and a kitchen that had been earning its keep for a long time.

The space was fully gutted to give the new design a fresh foundation, and a wall came out to open up the layout and make room for a breakfast nook with a matching countertop. The rebuild went two-tone: white shaker uppers under crown molding to keep the room bright, charcoal lowers to ground it. Quartz counters run the length of the room, backed by a white picket-tile backsplash, and a farmhouse sink with a commercial-style faucet sits under the window where it belongs. Under-cabinet lighting and pendant lighting change how the kitchen works after dark, and a full set of stainless appliances finishes it off.

It is a complete transformation inside the original footprint. The same room, working harder and looking nothing like its before photo.
